There has been quite a bit of hubbub out there lately about American parents raising spoiled, insensitive children. First there was that awful video of a bunch of insensitive kids bullying their school bus monitor which went viral, and then I read a recent New Yorker article detailing the truly alarming trend in this country of entitled and spoiled kids.
I try very hard in my own family to teach my kids about manners, about responsibility, about self-reliance, and about charity, so they don’t grow up spoiled. I hope it works. Watch to hear the little things I do and why I think starting young is key.
