Britax Recalls Car Seat

Britax recalls car seats Hi Moms!

I’m sure many of you, like I, did a ton of research before choosing a car seat. We put our most precious of cargo in them! So I wanted to make you aware of a recall issued today by Britax on some models of their convertible car seats. There have been reports of children chewing on the chest pads, which can rip into small pieces and cause a choking hazard, according to Britax. Britax is providing a free remedy kit with pads that are made from a stronger material.

    Hi Melissa,
Thanks for this recall notice. My father was planning to purchase the Britax Boulevard 70-G3 model for my son (who’s luckily currently 2 months old and won’t need large car seat for awhile anyway) Given this recall, do you think they will “update” the seat with a new version so I should wait to purchase that one, or should I purchase a different seat all together? The reviews are so great for these convertible car seats so I’d love some suggestions on other ones if you have any. Thank you!
